Our Partners
Established in 1980, Andrews Farm is a picturesque 165-acre farm known for its pick-your-own produce and fruit wines. We are grateful to partner with Andrews Farm, enriching the experiences of our members as they can explore the beautiful farmland surrounding Green Care Farms.
The Lunchbox Café is a unique training cafe for adults with developmental disabilities supported by Community Living North Halton. Their goal is to teach meaningful skills for them to use in a work or volunteer capacity in the community. Every Green Care Farms program day we purchase fresh and nutritious homemade lunches for our members from the Lunchbox Café’s social enterprise catering services.
A unique food redistribution organization dedicated to combating food insecurity and reducing food waste. The organization collects good perishable food (fruits, veggies, dairy) from different parts of the food supply chain (farms, grocery stores, and restaurants) and distributes it to those in need. Green Care Farms proudly partners with Food For Life, each year donating the surplus fresh produce we grow helping to provide nutritious food to seniors in need in the Halton region. Our members feel good about helping to reduce local food insecurity and contributing to sustainable food practices.
